Qatar Fuel Q.P.S.C. ("WOQOD") was established in 2002 by an Emiri Decree with the aim to provide downstream, refined fuel storage, distribution, and marketing services in the State of Qatar. WOQOD was incorporated as a Joint Stock Company on July 2, 2002. Subsequently, WOQOD launched its Initial Public Offering in 2003 and became a Qatari Public Shareholding Company. WOQOD is listed on the Qatar Exchange, and its shares are publicly traded. WOQOD is exclusively responsible for the distribution of fuel throughout Qatar. This includes diesel, gasoline, and aviation fuel. The company also trades in bunker fuels, ship-to-ship bunkering within Qatari waters, bitumen importation and distribution, LPG, and its own branded lubricants. In addition, it builds modern branded service stations across Qatar.
