JOB OBJECTIVE:
To maintain network performance at Woqod by
building net configurations and connections; conducting maintenance activities
for Woqod’s network infrastructure and carry out timely resolution of any
network problems or requirements
Description
Network Design & Configuration
Participate in the infrastructure design of proposed network plan to ensure that all technical requirements and data are available and considered during project planning.
Plan and review network configuration to ensure the highest availability of services
particularly in case of catastrophic failure.
Network Security
Maintain network security infrastructure in conjunction with the security section to ensure that all corporate data is properly secured while providing primary support and maintenance for all network security equipment across the network.
Review security logs from firewalls, switches, routers, etc. to determine cause of security related events or identify potential threats and troubleshoots security problems/failures.
Technical Support
Provide technical support under the direction of the Team Leader in design and execution of projects and activities related to network engineering.
Handle requests from Helpdesk for enhancement, testing or installation of networks
Telephony Maintenance & Repair
Respond to the problems received from any unit by diagnosing the problematic condition and ensure adequate maintenance of all communication units at Woqod.
Conduct preventive maintenance program of all Telecommunication equipment including but not limited to IP Telephony equipments, systems and facilities.
