JOB OBJECTIVE:

Supervise, control and monitor payroll accounting operations to ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time.

Description:

Payroll Accounting

Meets payroll operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently.

Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures

Validates pay by verifying time records; calculation and bank transfers.

Reconciliation and Control

Enhances, documents, and implements controls around payroll accounting.

Establish integrity checks to ensure payroll accounting across systems is complete and accurate.

Establishes and oversees controls around payroll accounting, document retention, and development of payroll reports.

Supervision of Subordinates

Organise and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the activity is carried out in an efficient manner.
