The earnings per share for the period amounted to QR. 0.48 share compared to QR. 0.44 for the same period of last year.<br>The increase in net profit and earnings per share was due to the increase of sales volume and other income. <br>On the other hand, Mr. Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi, CEO and Managing Director, indicated that the Board of Directors, according to Article 47 of the Articles of Association, and Circular No. 5 of 2024, issued by the Qatar Financial Markets Authority on 04/07/2024, decided to distribute interim cash dividends at the rate of QR. 0.40 per share, and that the dividend entitlement will be to the shareholder who owns the share on the seventh working day from the date of issuance of the resolution, that is, at the close of the trading session on Sunday, 11/08/2024, and Edaa will manage the interim cash dividend distribution.<br>Al-Muhannadi also explained that the total fuel sales volume for the period have increased by 10% compared to the same period of the year 2023, driven by the increase in Jet fuel sales by 16%. The meeting was held at WOQOD Tower, where the Board discussed and approved the performance of the company's business operations and financial results of WOQOD Group for the year ended 31 December 2023 as compared to the year 2022.<br>WOQOD Group net profit for 2023 (excluding minority rights) amounted to QR 984 million, as compared to an amount of QR 1,070 million achieved in the year 2022, representing a decrease of 8%. Earnings per share for the year amounted to QR 0.99, as compared to QR 1.08 for the past year, while Shareholders Equity increased to reach QR.9.3 billion compared to QR. 9.2 billion for the year 2022. <br>The year 2023 witnessed 5% increase in total fuel sales volume, compared to 2022. Total fuel sales reached a record high of 10.7 billion liters compared to 10.1 billion liters for the year 2022, mainly driven by the increase in the volume of sales of jet fuel and gasoline, which also recorded the highest annual sales volume in the company's history. Jet fuel sales reached 5.7 billion liters and Gasoline Sales reached 2.9 billion liters, with an increase of 16% and 4% respectively as compared to 2022. Qatar Fuel Company, hereinafter referred to as (WOQOD) or “WOQOD Group” or “the Group”, with the code
name “QFLS” on Qatar Stock Exchange, a company with an exclusive concession in the State of Qatar to
distribute, sell, transport and market refined petroleum products and gas within State of Qatar including airports
and seaports, announced that its Board of Directors chaired by Mr. Ahmed Saif Al-Sulaiti approved the financial
results and key performance and operational indicators of WOQOD Group for the nine-months period ended
on 30 September 2023 compared to the financial and operational results for the same period of 2022. The Board
also approved the Group Capital and Operational Budget for the year 2024.
WOQOD Group’s consolidated net profit (attributable to the shareholders of WOQOD) for the period ended
30th September 2023 amounted to QR. 712 million, compared to an amount of QR. 763 million achieved for
the same period of 2022, showing a decrease of QR. 51 million, representing a decrease rate of 7%. The earnings
per share for the period amounted to QR. 0.72 per share compared to QR. 0.77 for the same period last year.
The decrease in net profit and earnings per share was due to supply and demand factors for petroleum products
during the report period.
In the field of the petrol stations projects, Mr. Saad Rashid Al-Muhannadi, Managing Director and CEO, pointed
out that the petrol stations operated by the company are currently 117 stations. He also explained that the
company intends to add another station before the end of this year, bringing the number to 118 stations, stressing
that WOQOD's plan in stations construction is a dynamic plan whereupon the stations are built on as and when
basis i.e.as per the current and future requirements to build/avail a petrol station. He further explained that the
company has completed installation of 26 Electrical Vehicle Chargers EVC in 19 petrol stations in cooperation
with KAHRAMAA, in addition to WOQOD studying several other options in order to increase the income from
non-petroleum products segments, which will be applied during the current year.
In conclusion, Al-Muhannadi indicated that the Cabinet has approved the renewal of WOQOD’s Concession
for an additional five (5) years, indicating that WOQOD Group will continue deploying all efforts in enhancing
the benefits of its shareholders and all stakeholders, by taking appropriate initiatives in developing the petroleum

The meeting was held remotely through the utilization the Video Call facility. The Board discussed the performance of the business operations and the financial results of WOQOD Group for the First Quarter of the year 2023 ended on 31 March 2023, compared to the same results achieved in the corresponding period of the year 2022.<br>WOQOD Group net profit for the period (excluding minority rights) amounted to QR. 223 million, compared to an amount of QR. 263 million achieved in the same period in the year 2022, with a decrease of QR. 40 million, representing a decrease rate of -15%. The earnings per share for the period amounted to QR. 0.22 compared to QR. 0.26 for the same period of last year 2022. The decrease in net profit and earnings per share compared to the same period in 2022 was driven by the lower sales volumes of Diesel and associated incomes as well as reduction in fuel prices. Improved income from other segments contributed to offset some of the impacts from lower Diesel sales volumes.<br>In respect of petrol station Saad Rashid Al-Muhannadi Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer indicated that the first quarter of 2023 witnessing the construction and operation of two petrol stations.<br>Al Muhannadi also explained that during the first quarter of 2023, the company managed to install 10 electric charging points in 7 petrol stations in coordination with KAHRAMAA, noting that the installation activities of 6 other charging points in three stations as per the approved plan. The meeting was held at WOQOD Tower, where the Board discussed and approved – inter alia- the performance of the company's business operations and financial results for the year ended 31 December 2022 <br>Mr. Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi CEO&MD informed the Board that WOQOD Group net profit for 2022 (excluding minority rights) amounted to QR 1,070 million, as compared to an amount of QR 974 million achieved in the year 2021, representing an increase of 10%. Earnings per share for the period amounted to QR 1.08, as compared to QR 0.98 for the past year, while Shareholders Equity increased to reach QR 9.2 billion as compared to QR 9.0 billion for the year 2021. The increase in net profit and earnings per share was attributed to the increase in the volume of sales, in addition to the continuation in implementation of the policy of rationalizing costs and enhancing efficiency.<br>The year 2022 witnessed an 11% increase in total sales volume, as compared to 2021, where retail fuel sales through WOQOD stations increased by 9%, LPG sales increased by 14%, jet fuel increased by 20%, and bunker fuel increased by 27%. The increase in the sale volumes has led the company to achieve a record high revenue of QR 30 billion. <br>The Board reviewed and approved the current and future projects that the company plans to establish, whereby the company has opened 4 APC centers, 8 Sidra Convenience Stores, and 11 new petrol stations, thus increasing the number of operating stations to 126 at end of 2022. Mr. Saad Rashid Al-Muhannadi explained that the company has a dynamic plan for the construction of new petrol stations, which will be periodically reviewed according to the demand conditions and the need for petrol stations. <br>Mr. Al Muhannadi indicated that WOQOD started the installation of 37 EV chargers at 22 petrol stations in 2022, with charging points already installed in 5 stations, stressing that the EV installation operations will continue at other stations to keep pace with developments in the EV segment, as well as to optimize revenues and utilize infrastructure spread across the State of Qatar.
