October 2016, WOQOD and Qatar Stars League signed a sponsorship agreement for
2016/2017. According to the new arrangement, WOQOD will become a ‘business partner’
of the league. The partnership highlights WOQOD’s support of sports, the Stars
league and its fans locally and globally. It is also a part of WOQOD’s corporate
social responsibility outreach in Qatar in the lead up to FIFA 2022 world cup.
