In its ongoing aim at expanding to reach every area in the country, Qatar Fuel (WOQOD) has inaugurated on the 11th of March 2012 its newest service station in Muaither area, and its first independent branch of WOQOD’s Sidra convenience store at Qatar Foundation’s Student Center.

The inauguration ceremonies were attended by WOQOD’s Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Mohammed Turki Al Sobai. Also attending were Members of the Board of Directors of WOQOD, valued guests, WOQOD employees and suppliers.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Al Sobai said: “WOQOD continues to expand in strategic areas all over Qatar to reach out to as many customers as possible. WOQOD’s new service station at Muaither is the second of a series of service stations planned for this year. Six more service stations will open before summer and more by the end of this year.”

Mr. Al Sobai added, “The new service station features gasoline and diesel services and a SIDRA convenience store that includes an ATM, Qtel self-service machines and an internet cafe.”

WOQOD also inaugurated the first independent Sidra convenience store that caters to the Qatar Foundation’s Student Center. Further stand alone Sidra convenience stores will open shortly in Katara, the Cultural Village, and on the ground and first floors of WOQOD’s office tower in West Bay. “The convenience store opportunity in Qatar is huge,” added Al Sobai. “WOQOD’s convenience store is proven on WOQOD service stations and now we will expand it to satisfy the demand for a high quality local convenience offering with long opening hours.”

WOQOD offers state-of-the-art service through its service stations which caters to customers’ needs in almost every area and now through its first independent Sidra convenience store to reach its clients wherever they might be.

The opening of Muaither Petrol Station and Sidra convenience store at Qatar Foundation’s Student Center reflects WOQOD’s commitment to service the whole country including the remote areas.
