Qatar Fuel “WOQOD”, the sole fuel distributor in the country announced that it has signed an agreement with Doha Asian Games Organising Committee (DAGOC) as The Official Fuel Supplier for the 15th Asian Games Doha 2006.

The agreement indicates that WOQOD shall be exclusively supplying retail fuel services and motor vehicle cleaning services to DAGOC. This agreement allows WOQOD a host of benefits such as the right to use the DAGOC emblem on all WOQOD’s communication materials and do other advertising campaigns to leverage the WOQOD brand with the Asian Games.

Qatar Fuel (WOQOD) has designed its fuel tankers with the Asian Games logo, which is an effective advertising medium because of its quantity and mobility.

The Vice Chairman and Managing Director of WOQOD, Mohammed Khalifa Turki Al Sobai said, “We are pleased to be The Official Supplier for the 15th Asian Games Doha 2006. WOQOD considers it a privilege to be a part of this historic event and are honoured to be able to provide all the support we can.”

Qatar Fuel, “WOQOD” provides and distributes all of Qatar’s energy needs such as gasoline and diesel for vehicles, boats and industry, LPG for cooking, and aviation fuel for Doha International Airport.

The Doha Asian Games Organising Committee (DAGOC) consists of a team of professionals working together to showcase the largest sporting event ever to reach the Gulf shores - the 15th Asian Games Doha 2006.
