Mohammad Turki Al Sobai WOQOD Vice Chairman & Managing Director announced that WOQOD, in fulfillment of its promises to expedite the Process of Gas station construction in furtherance of the comprehensives development process abounding in the state of Qatar under the leadership of HH the Amir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani and HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani the Heir Apparent, has signed on 10/2/011 the second batch of construction contracts for the construction of new five gas stations located at Lihhdaira , Karaana, Aumthegaib, Busamra, and Messaid. According to Mr. Al Sobai the Construction Costs of the Five Gas Station will aggregate QR (100 ) millions.

It is to he noted that the company had , on 21/August/2010, signed the first batch of construction contracts, three of them were for construction of three new gas stations located at Bufsseilah, Rawdat Alhamama and Meaither, as well as two contracts for the construction of two technical inspection facilities to be located at Wadi Al‐banat and Messaimer.

In its persistent endeavors to expedite the construction process the company is intending in the forthcoming weeks to prepare the third batch of construction contracts to construct new gas stations at different locations in the state of Qatar like wise and in continuation of the process of expediting the petrol stations implementation the company will, after coordination with the Ministry of Municipality and other governmental agencies, tender for the construction of new sites, taking into consideration and in conformity with the state of Qatar general evolution planning for the promotion of all facilities and infrastructure to entertain the 2022 football World Cup tournament to be organized by the state of Qatar.

At the end of his announcement Mr. Al Sobai expressed Qatar Fuel WOQOD vivid and lasting gratitude to His Majesty sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani and HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al‐ Thani the Heir Apparent and all the official agencies for the robust, exquisite and persistent consolidation and co‐operation they extended to and will extend to WOQOD that managed to tackle all difficulties and obliterate all other obstacles facing the company in its realization of its promising projects intended and specifically designed to service the general public, upgrade the service standards and participate in the state of Qatar modern Development.
