The management of WOQOD Subsidiaries, QJet and FAHES received three ISO Certificates for the Integrated Management System (IMS) from an External Certification Body, LRQA during the ISO Certificate Awarding held last 27 January 2020, at WOQOD Tower Auditorium.
With the concluded ISO external audit last year, Subsidiaries, QJet & FAHES, have successfully completed the ISO Standards certification for the remaining IMS elements.
- ISO OSHAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Quality Management System) for QJET & FAHES
- ISO 14001:2015(Environmental Management System) for QJET
This can be considered as a very important milestone for WOQOD Management System, right after the Shared Services for Subsidiaries are implemented as per new organization structure for Subsidiaries last year. ISO Certification means that a management system, business segments, services, and corporate policies and procedures has all the requirements for standardization, implementation and continual improvement.
Khalid Ahmed Al-Hetmi - WOQOD QHSSE Manager, highlighted during the Awarding Ceremony that .."aligning the existing management system of WOQOD IMS to Subsidiaries is not possible without the hard work and engagement of all team members from both WOQOD Corporate and Subsidiaries to establish and implement the management system in conformance to all the requirements of these ISO Standards."
Beyond ISO Certification, the Integrated Management System ensures that policies, procedures and requirements are "streamlined, consistently implemented and are effective" in all functions of WOQOD and are cascaded to the subsidiaries and all level of its operations.
