Doha – 01/04/2021. WOQOD & Subsidiaries announced that its Integrated Management System (IMS) has been awarded the ISO 27001 certification with the scope covering all products, services and support processes.

ISO 27001 is one of the most sought-after information security standards in the world, with certifications growing by more than 450% in the past ten years. It's globally recognized as the benchmark for good security practice and supports compliance with a host of laws, including the Qatar's NIA regulations.

The integration of ISO 27001 to WOQOD & Subsidiaries existing Integrated Management System is an equally significant milestone ensuring efficient and effective use of resources allocated to management system elements. IMS Certification to 4 standards show top management buy-in and commitment to IMS and related initiatives as well as strong employee engagements.

With the addition of ISO 27001 Certification, the Integrated Management System (IMS) of Qatar Fuel (WOQOD) & Subsidiaries has now four ISO Standards Certification, which includes ISO 9001:2015 (quality management), ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management), ISO 45001 (occupational health & safety management.)
