Doha, 05/03/2015-Qatar Fuel “WOQOD” opened a new service station in Al-Wajbah on 05 March 2015. The station was officially inaugurated by H.E Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Bin Hassan Al -Thani, Chairman of WOQOD, along with several WOQOD board members, CEO, members of the local community, and WOQOD management.

“We are glad to inaugurate Al-Wajbah service station today, it is the 24th service station that WOQOD has completed”. WOQOD CEO Engr. Ibrahim Al-Kuwari stated, Adding: “In designing this service station we took into account the varied needs of the local community in Al-Wajbah.

The service station will provide Gasoline and Diesel for motorists and local community. It will also have a Sidra Convenience store that provides a full range of hot and cold beverages, fast food and a wide variety of daily needs for community and visitors. The site also includes a car wash, and a multipurpose automobile service bay for basic vehicle maintenance. Additionally a number of commercial shops will be opened in the station.

Al-Wajbah station’s construction is in line with WOQOD’s new image. Mr. Al-Kuwari added that further sites will open this year in different locations. WOQOD currently has 12 additional service stations under construction which are expected to be inaugurated in 2015, or beginning of 2016.

WOQOD is also planning to establish Fahes inspection lines in existing petrol station subject to availability of space. This is in addition to 10 expansion projects which are almost complete and expected to be opened in 2015.
