Qatar Fuel Company (WOQOD) has reported a 42% jump in its net profit to QR 431.60mn in the first nine months of this year.
Total assets rose by 27% to QR 2.74bn at the end of September 30, 2007, said WOQOD Managing Director, Mohamed Turki Al-Sobai.
The Company total’s equity increased by 44% to QR 1.32mn in January-September 2007, he said.
“The remarkable progress, which the Company has achieved during this period, was reflected in other major financial indicators,” Al-Sobai said.
Its basic earnings by per share (excluding minority interest) reached QR 13.9 by the end of third quarter, showing a rise of 43% over that in the previous year period, he added.
