JOB OBJECTIVE:
To handle day-to-day data center operations to ensure quick resolution of customer service support issues from employees and to monitor the functionality of local area networks and data communications ensuring uninterrupted operations. Manage DR Automation and replication of Data from primary DR to Secondary . Perform DRP Drills and Assure all Backups and restores are maintained and performed correctly
Description
Data Center Operations
Ensure rapid and effective response/resolution for major or high incidents.
Plan routine maintenance of all hardware equipment to ensure functionality and continuous operation.
Evaluate information on hardware and software systems based on performance and industry trends and advise supervisor to maintain an effective and up-to-date system configurations.
IT Support
Provide IT support for problems and issues resulting from errors and problems with implemented systems, applications etc to ensure minimum loss of service due to encountered errors.
Work closely with the support team to meet the company's service level agreement with the end-user.
Escalation Management
Provide information on policies and procedures for escalation of issues and problems related to IT issues to all the helpdesk users so that the defined channels of issue escalation are followed.
Statements and Reports
Assist in the preparation (or prepare as needed) of timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet and department requirements, policies and standards.
