On 29th May, Woqod lubricants business unit held a " Lubricants Technical Seminar" for its key customers at Oryx Rotana in Doha (Qatar). The event was a great success as it was attended by close to 100 customers from various segments like the transportation, construction, car/truck agents & key high street outlets. This demonstrates growing channel base and increasing popularity of Ghaf & Qorm brands in the local Qatar market.
The objective of the seminar was to add value to the existing/new potential customers by sharing best practices in the usage of lubricants with Woqod lubricants. It highlighted the "Solution" & " Value added" approach being adopted by Woqod lubricants instead of just selling the products. It stressed that while WOQOD Lubricants are priced higher but consumer still benefit because of longer drain intervals, less spare parts costs, lesser labor costs, lesser down town so that vehicles can be on road for longer intervals.
Customers were given reason to believe (RTB) as WOQOD lubricants are now endorsed by key renowned global OEM's like BMW, SCANIA, VOLVO, MAN, RENAULT, MACK with MERCEDES & VOLKSWAGON (VW) approval on the way. This demonstrates WOQOD's endeavor to provide quality lubricants to its consumers.
Woqod is on track to achieve 23% market share in the local Qatar market in the retail/commercial segments where it operates. In value terms the share will be much higher as the local market has players selling products at half the WOQOD prices. This is fastest growth of market share globally as the lubricants markets is flat due to shrinkage in lubricants consumption because of high drainage intervals. The customers were thanked for supporting WOQOD lubricants and their continued support sought to help WOQOD Lubricants become a market leader in the local Qatar market across segments.
