Qatar Fuel "WOQOD" today opened its fourth new service station this year, located on the Salwa Road near to Mekaines. The location serves the highway on the direction to the border with Saudi Arabia.

"This is by far WOQOD’s largest service station so far," stated Mohammed Turki Al Sobai, WOQOD’s Vice Chairman and Managing Director. "There are many new innovations to cater to the different needs of our customers. For truck drivers, the station has a special route that takes heavy trucks away from the busy forecourt to dedicated high speed diesel dispensers. On exiting the service station there is a dedicated shop serving hot and cold beverages and fast foods with a product range especially chosen for truck driver’s needs. This new concept we call Sidra Express. "

"For private customers the service station is designed to WOQOD’s normal high standards and layouts. We recognize that the location is on a busy highway so there will be opening soon a new concept we call Sidra Garden. This includes a food court style restaurant with multiple well known fast food brands. The design offers family seating areas and externally a large play area for young children. Inside customers can choose from a wide range of hot and cold beverages and fast foods. The whole site also will allow wireless internet access. The service station includes a dedicated mosque, automatic and manual car wash services, tyres shops and quick lube. The whole site had been designed for the convenience of our customers."

WOQOD currently has an additional 10 service stations under construction with new openings expected by the end of 2011.
