Doha, 17/12/2013 - In the continuous customer focus, Qatar Fuel (WOQOD) organized on 17th December 2013, a one day training workshop in the Ritaj Royal hotel which focused on best practices regarding the handling of Bitumen & Qatar road new requirement.

Many essential matters were addressed such as the transfer, storage and mixing of Bitumen products and that bituminous material should be handled with extreme caution in all cases, new road design requirement, PEN grade and PG grade.

Achieving the best results in terms of health and safety conditions is of top priority when dealing with clients and their employers. It is a fact that Bitumen is stored within a temperature of 140°C to ensure continuation of the material’s codified uses, hence showing the importance of how the clients handle this material and their commitment to the applicable standards of the industry calls for the need of this type of training to guarantee that their safety is on top of everyone’s list.

This course was organized internally and structured based on the application of the Qatari global standards & WOQOD rules.

The event was a great success as it was attended by major construction Road Company in Qatar & interested parties.
