Doha-Qatar, 27th, January, 2016 - Under the patronage of HE Sh. Saoud Ben Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Chairman, the new petrol station was opened by Eng. Ibrahim Jaham Al-Kuwari Qatar Fuel “WOQOD” opened its 33rd service station in Simaisma area on.

The opening of the new petrol station is in line with its commitment to meet the fuel and energy needs of Qatar, and as part of the company’s ongoing expansion plans to grow its network of service stations locally. The petrol station is spread over an area of 13,200 meters approximately, and has 3 lanes that will serve the neighbourhood of Simaisma area. The station will offer round-the-clock services including Sidra convenience store, Kenar shops, auto wash and repair and sale of LPG cylinders.

Engr. Ibrahim Jaham Al-Kuwari, commented during the event, “The new opening reflects our ambitious plans to expand our network and accessibility within Qatar in order to cater the growing needs of the local market, and ensure that high quality products and services are available to all our customers at their convenience across the country. The opening of Simaisma is the second petrol station to open since the beginning of 2016. WOQOD has also provided mobile filling stations to areas in Al Shamal, Sealine, Al Wakair, Al Kharara, and Farda Al Doha. We are planning to provide additional mobile filling stations in the comings days to service Al Sadd, Rawdat Al Khayl and Jelayaa. This will enhance our plans to provide the best services, and until WOQOD’s plan to cover all Qatar is accomplished. ”

Engr Al Kuwari also mentioned that the WOQODe, the electronic payment method is now available in all WOQOD petrol stations.
