Castrol has strengthened its global partnership with BMW in the Middle East with the signing of an agreement with Alfardan Automobiles and Woqod, Castrol’s local product distributor.
BMW engines and Castrol’s products are designed in conjunction with each other, which is why Castrol is the recommended lubricant brand by BMW dealerships worldwide. The agreement helps deliver stronger customer care in after-sales services as the oil used during servicing will be the same as when the car comes out of the factory.
The range of products that will be supplied belong to Castrol’s SLX Professional product range, which has been approved by BMW worldwide. By using the SLX range, BMW customers will benefit from optimum level performance and protection, Mohamed Kandeel, general manager, Alfardan Automobiles, said.
With Qatar playing host to the 2022 Soccer World Cup, this alliance also signifies the continued dedication that Qatar and Qatari businesses have to international sports, with Castrol having previously sponsored the 2010 World Cup. It has also signed future sponsorships for Euro 2012 and the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, Rick Capoccia, Castrol sales director, said.
“Castrol is honoured to be working closely with Alfardan Automobiles and Woqod to provide BMW customers with the best in class lubricants, helping keep these high performance engines working at their peak performance levels. Woqod has been a primary driver of this partnership and we are delighted that this agreement is now in place. Castrol has always been synonymous with quality, performance and motoring excellence and this partnership comes in line with our dedication to offering the best in engine care and performance,” Capoccia said.
